Top 5 Art and Design Apps on Android in Kenya, Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, the Art and Design category on the Android platform in Kenya saw notable trends across its top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting with around 18.6K in late March and ending at approximately 1.8K by the end of June. Revenue peaked at $492 in the last week of April, while active users saw a decline from 78.2K to 53.2K over the quarter.

Ibuy showed a significant spike in downloads, particularly in early June, reaching about 10.9K. Although there was no revenue recorded, the app's download numbers varied greatly, from a low of 68 in the last week of June to highs in the thousands earlier in the quarter.

Our Mall maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from about 2.6K to 5.1K. The highest downloads were observed in late May and early June.

Kids Art & Drawing Game saw a dramatic increase in downloads, peaking at around 4.4K in mid-June. Active users also grew significantly, reaching approximately 7.5K by the end of June.

Animated Sticker Maker (FSM) had a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from around 500 to 770. Active users showed a slight upward trend, reaching approximately 1.4K by the end of June.
